The Challenge

Clock'd is a startup that focuses on helping restaurant owners with all of their hiring needs. This includes managing job posts, writing job descriptions, conducting screening interviews, scheduling working interviews, and handling all hiring paperwork. This means that Clock'd gets up close and personal with both restaurant owners and industry professionals. 

 The founders of Clock'd wanted to emphasize that working in the industry is a professional career. Our task was to create a brand that evoked that professionalism whilst still ringing true to the very human-centric service industry.

The Solution

We wanted to create a brand that was bold, professional, and distinctly hospitality to reflect Clock'd. We did this by using bold, saturated colors, compact fonts, and creating icons that showed characters in motion. 

Finally, whenever possible, we encouraged Clock'd to use short, succinct copy to reflect the directness often found in kitchens and restaurants.
